Extract of sample "Fake Name Plays and Shows"

Local police in Lancaster County, during one episode on Television, the narrator states that one of the lead characters of the Lancaster Police was arrested by the "Lancaster County Police" but in the real sense there is reportedly no such law enforcement agency in Lancaster. This is the name of fake news that deceived the innocent public. The name fake news genre is believed to have dated back to the 1960s and it was used widely in radio news, film production, and television. Fake names were used to portray real people so as hide the identities of the people and enhance the understanding of the target group (Gibson 2012).

It is important to highlight here that name fake news to a greater extent damages our understanding of current events. This is true because it gives the public falsified information about untrue things and if the public believes in the false information, it may lead to the destruction of human dignity, defamation, and some loss may also occur. If for example, a news anchor during broadcasting reveals the fake name of a product that is to be sold in the market having a different price to the real price of the original product. Due to the false information, the innocent buyer will not only spend more than the actual price of the product but also purchase a wrong item that was not intended (Gibson 2012).

Fake name news can also damage our understanding of current events in publications such as books and newspapers. If an author in his publication indicates that a particular town or city exists or particular people existed having various activities such as the one that appeared in the recent Moscow News with claims that a city existed and it was full of sins done by the citizens. This kind of negative information may damage the people's view on how they consider a particular group from a certain region while in neither reality the city does not exist nor does the purported Television show that gave the false news (Burchard 2012).

Despite the negative effects of fake name news, they however enhance our understanding of current events to some large extent. Fake names were used in film industries to improve the humor of the plays and movies. This helps the public to have a clear and vivid understanding of the activities that were happening in the movies. The fake names could be used to illustrate the actual happenings in the communities that in either way affect the social welfare of the society. This, therefore, helped the people to understand well their societies and their social and cultural norms hence enhancing their way of life (Burchard 2012).

It has been observed some authors use fake names in their stories to make the locals understand the current events in the world when they read about the events which are similar but happened in the past. When people read about these events they can define ways of protecting themselves from calamities such as earthquakes and hunger having had a clear understanding of a portrayed similar one that happened in the past (Gibson 2012).

From the above analysis, it is important to note that name fake news can both damage our understanding of the current event if they are misrepresented and misappropriated thereby deceiving the public on their view of the current events. This may lead to losses, and defamation as mentioned above. However, they also enhance our understanding of current events and may help improve our social standards and the methods for risk management by having adequate knowledge of the previous events which is portrayed in the fake name news most especially in books (Burchard 2012).

These shows play a very vital role in developing a deep and balanced view of current affairs in the sense that they help people understand best their environment and everything that is happening around them. The plays also help improve people's views on their perceptions of current activities and events. This gives them a deeper understanding of how to manage the different occurrences that comes by. People tend to relate these happenings with what was witnessed in the fake name plays and shows, and how people manage different situations can find themselves (Burchard 2012).

Conclusion
In conclusion,n therefore, I wish to note that, from the fake name plays and shows, people develop a balanced understanding of the fiction portrayed in the shows and actual happenings in our world (Gibson 2012). Read More
