Extract of sample "Analysis of the Image of Hamlet"

Hamlet dislikes Claudius, but he tries to conceal his anger and dislike under the shadow of melancholy and upset-mindedness. Hamlet regards his uncle’s marriage with his mother as incestuous and also considers his mother guilty of the act. He cannot trust them because the ghost informs him that Claudius poisoned his father to be the king. In addition, his mother married Claudius without considering Hamlet’s condition.

Ophelia is the daughter of Polonius and Hamlet’s beloved. She is a sign of hope for Hamlet, but Hamlet is planning his revenge and tries to get away from Ophelia.
Yes, Ophelia got mad because Hamlet, her lover killed her father and she sensed her bleak future. Hamlet does not go mad, he just acted to be mad to avenge Claudius. Ophelia's madness is depicted through her committing suicide and her father’s murder at the hands of her lover. However, till the end, Hamlet is philosophical and avenges Claudius for his father’s murder which is his initial plan. He poses to be mad, but all his actions are thought involving.

Hamlet arranged for a play, which he entitled “Mousetrap”. The play is a reenactment of the conspired murder of Hamlet’s father. Hamlet has to be secretive because he wants to be sure of Claudius’ guilt by observing his reactions to the play. Hamlet made the players act on what he thought to be true with Claudius and his mother.
Shakespeare is sometimes considered difficult to read because of the acquirement of poetical, metaphorical and philosophical language. Such as:
In the above-mentioned phrase, Marcellus speaks to Horatio indicating some coming adversity in Denmark. I think Marcellus points towards the appearance of ghosts and some terrible happening that is going to be.

Hamlet disapproves of his uncle’s calling him his son because Hamlet is not happy with Claudius’ changed relationship with Hamlet. He regards his mother’s marriage with Claudius as incestuous. Claudius has become more than kin, but on the other hand, he is not the kind that he pretends to be.

Hamlet is the tragic hero. He remains busy planning to avenge his father’s death, but because of the uncertainty of Claudius’ guilt, Hamlet is restrained to take revenge and delays his action. He shows his character as much more philosophical and less action-oriented because he appears to be a good thinker, but a bad doer. Finally, when he recognizes that he should avenge his father’s murder, Claudius is ready in advance for his plan of poisoning Hamlet. Hamlet gets successful in murdering Claudius, but in the process, he endangers his mother who gets killed because of poison that Claudius keeps for Hamlet. Hamlet also kills Polonius by mistake due to which, he loses his beloved. Hamlet dies with all their losses.
