It will also include the countries in which the company has a footprint or major interest in the media. 2.0 News Corp Scandals and Legal Battles 2.1 World’s scandal on phone hacking of the Royal family in the United Kingdom 2.2 The media house’s scandal whereby Paul McMullan a former editor in the media house that alluded to engaging on police corruption to obtain sensitive information touching on news stories they were pursuing at the time in the United Kingdom. 2.3 News Corp’s scandals in the United States involving hacking and telling of lies to federal investigators by company employees. 3.0 Impact of these Scandals on Global Media Practices 3.1 Impact of the cases and their outcome to the media houses in the global scene. 3.2 The changes in media ethics in the United Kingdom, United States and other nations globally. 3.3 We shall also have a look at the loopholes in existing regulations that allowed these malpractices to happen. 4.0 Conclusion A summary of the findings and will contain my own personal views on the changes and whether they are sufficient in taming regulating the media houses.
